About

Bragg Homestead at Green Hills

After working long careers in both Information Technology and Child & Youth Services respectively, Chris & Sara Bragg sought
a peaceful retirement in Kentucky with the opportunity to purchase some land and settle into a quiet, country existance. Several years of looking for the perfect place here in the Commonwealth led to their discovering a picturesque farm property just east of Glasgow, Kentucky, which they ended up purchasing in the summer of 2025.

To create a fulfilling, rewarding, and sustainable retirement lifestyle, Chris & Sara are working toward building and providing several agricultural, livestock, and agritourism ventures over the next 5 years. These include:

  • Harvest Hosts: Hosting RV travelers through the Harvest Hosts platform with a farm experience, offering a safe RV stop in a great location with nearby access to many great expereinces and tourist destinations.
  • Horse Boarding: Offering self-care, partial-care, and pasture boarding options for horse owners, as well as providing horse rescue fostering space, leveraging the farm’s existing equestrian setup.
  • Sheep & Pig Farming: Raising a small flock of Kahtadin sheep and Kune Kune pigs for our guests to interact with as well as for meat production.
  • Chicken Farming: Producing eggs and meat, for sale and self-sustainment.
  • Gardening: Cultivating a large fruit and vegetable garden to support both self-sufficiency and sales.
  • Farm Store: Selling homegrown produce, baked goods, crafts, and other locally produced items in a small, on-farm store.

This multi-faceted approach blends the Bragg’s passions with country-living, retirement-friendly opportunities, community engagement, and allows them to share the farm-life experience with visitors to the homestead.
